US Oranges (DV01 & QQ03)
US orange prices rose by 20.8% y-o-y to USD 13.195/box in May 2021, in line with tighter supplies. US orange
production for the 2020/21 MY is expected to be 15% lower y-o-y at 4.11 million tonnes, due to above average fruit
tree drop. In addition, growers continue to face pressures from residential and commercial development together
with shifting consumer trends. Higher input costs contribute to a further bullish sentiment.
